Things To Do At Home

Since a lot of us will be spending extra time at home in the coming weeks, I figured I’d share a quick list of things to keep you busy at home!

Every Friday I’m at home with Remy, so I’ve learned to keep a running list of things I can accomplish (projects / tasks) or things I’ve been wanting to do (read) whenever I get bored or anxious. I hope this helps - here we go!

For You:

Try a new recipe

Put together that photo book you’ve been meaning to make

Spruce up your bedroom (check out my Master Bedroom Makeover here)

Go for a walk (listen to an audio book, music, or power walk to stay entertained)

Organize your jewelry

Do 50 squats

Start a new show

Call a friend to catch up

Organize your phone (from the couch with these tips!)

Read a book

Shop on Amazon (I rounded up my favorite items from 2019 here)

Do a face mask, whitening strips, pore strips, bubble bath, pamper yourself!

For the House:

Organize the storage area

Clean out your files

Clean out a closet (hall closet, linen closet, junk closet)

Organize your pantry (use up old items with one of those new recipes!)

Do your taxes (April isn’t that far away)

Style your book shelves (use my guide here)

Wash things that never get washed: blankets, throw pillows, rugs

Switch out shoes, coats, gloves and hats for the season

Do a deep clean (with these cleaning essentials)

Update those frames with new photos (printed at home or stop at the store when you need some fresh air)

For the Kids:

Bake cookies

Sanitize the kids toys

Organize the kids clothes, by what fits and what doesn’t, by season

Clean out the kids toys, what they use, what they’ve outgrown

Sanitize and organize bottle parts, stroller parts, and other accessories

AND when all else fails, put on Netflix and have a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine, depending on the time!) and relax! We’ve got this.
