Summer Toddler Boys Clothes
I cannot believe we’re already mid-summer! Safe to say 2020 has had lots of surprises and even some disappointments. But we’ve also been enjoying a lot more time with family, playing outside, taking long walks and bike rides. It hasn’t been all that bad.
One major accomplishment this summer is that Remy learned to walk! He’s currently 15 months old and just decided to start walking (with a little crawling mixed in, still). Now that I have a true toddler on my hands, I had to buy some real shoes. I am loving the shoe options from Target and Amazon. I also love pairing cute tennis shoes with a pair of comfy shorts, t shirt, and backwards hat. He looks like a little boy now - not so much a baby!

TODDLER SHORTS
Pull On Green Shorts - Love the color of these green shorts. They are a little bit darker in person. Light weight and perfect for summer. I also love that green shorts are an alternative to jean or blue. Looks great with lots of different shirts.
Pull-On Shorts Chambray Blue - I love love love these chambray shorts. So easy for summer. They go with everything. I also love the pop of color on the drawstring. Super cute rolled up at the bottom if you size up.
Knit Pull-On Shorts Grey - I bought these in light grey and dark charcoal. They are super comfortable. Great option when you know he’ll be playing inside a lot or needs to be comfy. Really easy to get on and off.

Short Sleeve Crew Neck T Shirt Cream Turtles - I loved this t shirt because it has the neutral turtle print - so classic for summer but also goes with any pair of shorts.
Short Sleeve Colorblock Pocket Tshirt - This shirt is super cute. It’s perfect for a little boy, with the pop of color on the pocket. All of the Target t-shirts are very comfortable.
Crew Neck T Shirt Camo - I like a camo print as a neutral in the summer! I like this paired with the chambray shorts or the light grey jersey knit shorts.
Heathered T-shirts Two Pack - This two pack of shirts is only $5.25! I can’t believe the price. I like the pair of blue and grey heathered shirts. And again, so comfortable.
BALL CAPS & SHOES
Toddler ball caps and shoes
Distressed Wash Ball Caps - This two pack is only $12.99. The hats fit a toddler head (you can tighten the straps on the back if they are a little loose). Remy only had one ball cap and wears it all the time, so we added a few more to the rotation. Love the distressed look of these!
Aaron Sneakers - I am obsessed with these sneakers for Remy. They look so cute with all of his outfits and they fit him just right! He is in size 5 shoes right now. They are a nice color of grey / neutral with a bit of blue.
Claud Slip On Sneakers Tan - These slip on sneakers are a nice cross between loafers and sandals. They seem less formal than toddler loafers. I really like them for summer with shorts! So surprising that they are from Target! Look like a more expensive brand for sure.
Native Navy Blue Shoes - These shoes are really cool and I see lots of the kids at Remy’s daycare wear them. Made from recycled material, breathable, perfect for a water-play day. I got Remy a size 5 (what he typically wears) and they are pretty big. Size down.
Gil Sneakers Gray - These grey shoes are so adorable. The two velcro straps make it easy to get on and off. I like that they are light grey, so they go with a lot of outfits. They are a little heavy on the bottoms, but I think the will grow into these and wear them into Fall.
Kolbi Sneakers Black - Another easy pair of tennis shoes. I found a similar pair on Amazon that I will link. They both are the same quality to me. I like that this Target pair has one big velcro strap on top of the laces. Plus, black won’t show every scuff.
TODDLER SWIM WEAR
Long Sleeve Rash Guard Navy - I gave up on dousing my toddler in sunscreen day 1 of summer. Now I just throw on this rash guard with some swim trunks, and only need to worry about his face and legs. This navy one is breathable and neutral.
Seersucker Plaid Swim Trunks - I got these strictly for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day festivities! But turns out, they look super cute on Remy with a ball cap and the navy rash guard.
Retro Stripe Swim Trunks - Finally, a second pair of swim trunks for when the other pair are wet. Believe me, they have come in handy a ton this summer! I also loved this stripe because it look similar to Bobby’s trunks. Father and son matching swim trunks - love it!
Hopefully you found something for your little one on this list! Summer clothes have been pretty fun but I cannot wait to see what Fall styles I can put him in (while he still lets me!)
