Mother's Day Gift Guide

This year I am celebrating my first Mother’s Day as a new mom! Side note: I still can’t believe I am a mom - it’s pretty crazy! But moving on…

As I was thinking about what I might like for my first Mother’s Day - and what I want to give to my own mom - I decided to put together a little gift guide for those of us who are fresh out of ideas. In years past, I’ve done things like monogrammed necklaces, sent fresh herb wreaths, and even taken my mom wine tasting. Get creative and treat the moms in your life!

Here are my favorite gifts for Mother’s Day.

1. FRESH HERB WREATH

I love this fresh bay and olive leaf wreath from Terrain. Really, any of their wreaths are gorgeous!

2. MONOGRAMMED NECKLACE

I’ve sent this Kate Spade monogrammed necklace to friends and to my mother-in-law. It’s a great gift. You can personalize with either Mom’s initial or their kids’ initials.

3. MODERN BABY BOOK

Artifact Uprising's modern take on a baby book - The Story of You. Great gift for a new mom in your life.

4. FRESH BOUQUET FROM TERRAIN + the BOUQS

This fresh anemone bunch of flowers from the Bouqs for Terrain.

5. A PRETTY CLUTCH

Like this Camilla Corded Clutch from Anthropologie. The green is great for Spring!

6. SLIPPERS

These moccasin-style slip-ons from Target come in the perfect shade of blush.

7. ONE HOPE WINE

Send your mom some wine in an etched wooden box. Even better, each bottle of One Hope wine benefits a special cause.

8. SOY CANDLE

This lavender & eucalyptus scent will have mom feeling like she’s at the spa! Also love that it burns for 45+ hours, unlike some pricier candles.

9. A COZY THROW BLANKET

I am really digging this windowpane throw blanket from Target! It’s a bit more than I would typically spend on a throw, which is what makes it a great gift for mom. Plus, it is on sale!

10. A NICE COFFEE TABLE BOOK

Choose a nice coffee table book she can look through for years to come. I like the Habitat book (on home decor) or Malibu Farms Cookbook (gorgeous photos of food with a California vibe).
