Amazon Buys: April

A quick recap of what I bought on Amazon this month! Even though we are spending all of our time at the house in quarantine, these items are keeping us entertained and comfy during this crazy time :)

Happy Shopping!

A few things for me…

Black joggers - I know I shared these on my Amazon Home Essentials post, but they’re just so good! I have worn these joggers in the rotation once a week while we are at home quarantining. May as well be comfy, right? They fit perfectly - cuffed at the ankles but not too loose on the pants. Try them for yourself!

Travel Home Coffee Table Book - I needed a new coffee table book and some inspiration during quarantine. This book brought it! I love decorating with pieces from our travels. It’s easier now than ever to buy things from artists around the world (hello, Etsy). Great book!

Volcano Capri Blue Candle - Such a classic candle to have. I love to burn a candle during the day while we are working from home - it helps set a nice tone! This scent is fabulous and worth the price. It lasts quite a while and fills the whole house with that great, classic scent!

Bare Minerals Matte Powder Foundation with SPF - I started replacing some of my makeup on Amazon in a pinch. It is so much easier for me than paying shipping for ONE thing at a typical cosmetics store. I’ve been wearing Bare Minerals since college and I love that my skin never breaks out. I probably replace the powder 2-3 times a year. I wear the light shade. That said, I did just place a nice order from the Sephora sale - but I needed a FEW things so that made more sense to me!

The Montessori Toddler - This book has been on my list for a while and now that we have a toddler - not a baby anymore - I finally purchased it. The methods are all about organizing your home to allow your child to freely learn and explore without having to constantly monitor, interfere, or assist. I’m all for independent play - especially right now, with trying to work from home. I am only a chapter or two in, but I think this book will be referenced a lot over the next few years!

And a few things for our toddler…

Neutral Sippy Cups - I’ve been on the hunt for neutral toddler cups, spoons, plates, etc. They are hard to find! But these cups fit the bill and they are fairly leak-proof (I only notice when Remy holds the cup upside down for longer than a second or two…a few drips will come out.) Overall, these cups have been great while our new toddler transitions from bottles to sippy cups! And they don’t look bad sitting on the coffee table, either :) I’ll keep sharing my neutral baby / toddler finds for those who dislike color as much as me!

Smock Bib - Omg why didn’t we have this before? Especially with a messy toddler, this smock bib saves us! No more ruining outfits by lunchtime. The bib covers his arms and neck down. Plus the pocket at the bottom catches a lot of food. We got it in the grey pattern called “bear” (duh) but the avocado is pretty cute too!

Aden + Anais Pajamas - love these for Remy right now! We bought a few pairs of two piece pajamas when Remy turned one. I love how soft these are the patterns are adorable. We got the “orbit” pattern and “brontosaurus”. Too cute!

Burt’s Bees Pajamas - Speaking of PJs, we also got this pair of indigo moon pajamas for Remy. I love everything Burt’s Bees (from burp cloths to towels, we’ve got a lot in our nursery). The pajamas are super soft and wash well. They run slightly tight on the arms and legs, FYI.

Every Little Thing Book - We try to read with Remy every night and this is one of his favorites in rotation right now! We even sent a copy to my nephew. The story follows the famous Bob Marley song, with some extra versus added in. Great message for this stressful time we are living in!
